Ride along the coastal highway surrounded by amazing scenery

Overview

Drive along the road right on the coast surrounded by amazing landscapes, stunning scenery and the many sights you can see. With the sound of the legendary Royal Enfield motorcycle and its 650 ccm, it will take you to explore world-famous cities such as Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik and various natural and cultural assets of Croatia. Travel the coast on a motorcycle and feel the vibration of the engine as the wind blows you in the face. Allow yourself teleportation to another dimension and experience Croatian towns, villages and nature.

Tour plan

The evening before the start of the trip, we will take the opportunity to meet the tour guide and other participants. Accommodation of participants in the same hotel in order to avoid waiting for participants, ie to avoid any disturbances that could cause a delay the start of the tour.

The gathering is planned to inform the participants about the tour, motorcycles, routes, distance, daily plan. To acquaint the tour guide with any possible difficulties by the participants, in order to prevent or avoid possible unplanned situations and difficulties.

Our tour stars at 10:00 a.m. After leaving the city (Split), we ride on the expressway for about 10 kilometres and continue along national route D1 via Sinj and Peručko Jezero to Knin, where we get an hour rest and refreshment, after which we ride on towards Gračac. However, just before Gračac, we turn to Plitvice Lakes National Park and then to a small town of Udbina for lunch. Our lunch break lasts two and a half hours and then we continue to Plitvice Lakes. We take a short break in Korenica to refuel and ride on to Plitvice, that is, to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

As on Day 1, we leave at 10:00 a.m. We ride towards Karlovac, via Slunj. After we pass Slunj, we take a break at Rastoke so that the riders may witness its beauty. After the break, we ride on to Karlovac to refuel and then we take the old road through Gorski Kotar to Rijeka. We take a short, 20-minute break at Severin na Kupi and then continue to Lokve for a two -and-a-half hour lunch break. We ride on via Gornje Jelenje to Rijeka and arrive to the hotel at centre of the City of Rijeka for an overnight stay. Our dinner is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

We leave at 10:00 a.m. by highway from Rijeka to Pula through the Učka Tunnel. After the tunnel, we take the old road towards Lupoglav and on to Buzet. We refuel at  Buzet and take a short break. Then we pass Motovun and ride on to a small town of Buje where we turn to Grožnjan for a two-and-a-half-hour lunch break. After lunch, we ride on to Pula. We take a short sightseeing break at the Lim Bay overlook. After sightseeing, we ride on to Pula, that is, Verudela, for an overnight stay at the hotel. Dinner is scheduled for 8:00 p. m.

We leave Pula (Verudela) at 10:00 a.m., via Rijeka, to  Novalja, Pag. We ride along Barban and Labin and arrive to Plomin. There are no plans to stop at Plomin, however, we take a break at the overlook above. After the break at the overlook, we descend to the littoral and ride via Mošćenička Draga, Lovran, Opatija and Rijeka. We plan to take the bypass above Rijeka to avoid traffic jams and convoy split-up. After getting on the Adriatic Coastal Highway at Šmrika, we ride on to a small town of Povile for lunch. After lunch break, we continue to a small town of Prizna to board the ferry to the island of Pag.  Due to ferry schedule, a short wait is possible.  We arrive to the island of Pag, disembark and set out to the hotel. We have dinner at 08:00 p. m. following a short rest and refreshment.

Rest day

As in previous days, we leave at 10 a.m. for the City of Pag. We cross the entire island, and, upon arriving to the mainland, we ride to Posedarje and plan a 45-minute break there. After the break, we set out to Zadar and ride on towards Split along the Adriatic Coastal Highway through Bibinje, Pakoštane, and so on to get to the Šibenik Bridge. After taking a short, 15-minute break, we ride on to a small village of Dolac near Primošten where we plan to have a two -and-a-half hour lunch break. After lunch, we continue to ride to Split for an overnight stay, and, among other things, dinner, which is scheduled for 08:00 p.m.

We leave Split at 10:00 a.m., take the Adriatic Coastal Highway and on to Dubrovnik. Delays and traffic jams are possible on the section of the road to Omiš, which could cause difficulties and lead to a “longer“ ride to Makarska where we plan to take our first break lasting 45 minutes.
After the break in Makarska, we ride on to Dubrovnik via Ploče to the overlook above the small village of Komarna, where we plan to take a 15-minute break. Then we continue to Ston, that is, Hodilje, where we plan a two-and-a-half-hour lunch break. After lunch, we ride on to Dubrovnik for an overnight stay and dinner at 08:00 p.m.

The last day of our tour starts at 10:00 a.m. We ride along the Adriatic Coastal Highway to Split, to the turn-off to Ston where we plan to take a 45-minute break. After the break, we continue along the Adriatic Coastal Highway to Ploče and then turn to Vrgorac. In the City of Vrgorac we have a two-and-a-half-hour lunch break. After lunch, we ride to the village of Šestanovac, turn to Gornja Brela and continue along the Adriatic Coastal Highway. Just before we take the Adriatic Coastal Highway, we stop at the overlook above the village of Dubci to take a 15-minute break. After the break we take the Adriatic Coastal Highway and continue to ride to Split. We reach Split, our final destination. We leave the motorcycles and officially end the tour.
