History experience ride
Drive through Zagorje with a tour of three
historically important places.
Overview
Drive through Zagorje with a tour of three historically important places.
Museum of the Peasant Revolt in Stubica, which took place back in 1573 between oppressed peasants and landlords, all because of injustice to the people and imposed high taxes.
What follows is a departure into an even further past, into the Stone Age. More precisely, a museum of Neanderthals where you will experience the “revival” of some ancient times with numerous exhibits from the Stone Age found in Krapina and the surrounding area.
After all, the path takes us to a more recent past. How people lived in Zagorje 100 years ago with a depiction of the whole village from that time.
Ethno village Kumrovec will offer you a tour of the birthplace of former Yugoslav President Tito, around which today in Croatia there are heated debates about whether he was a positive or a negative, but originates from the not so distant history of the Republic of Croatia.
